The Youth-N-Action Scholarship Program is designed to help graduating high school seniors take the next step toward higher education by providing financial support and creating opportunities for college success.

Through the Scholarship Program, Youth-N-Action is committed to investing in promising students, reducing financial barriers to higher education, and helping young people turn their educational goals into opportunities for a brighter future.

The Youth-N-Action Scholarship Fund was established to raise and provide financial support for the Youth-N-Action Scholarship Program.

Through individual donations, corporate sponsorships, fundraising events, and community partnerships, the Fund helps provide scholarships to selected graduating high school seniors who are continuing their education at a college or university.

Funds raised help reduce the financial barriers associated with pursuing higher education and may assist scholarship recipients with eligible educational expenses such as tuition, books, fees, supplies, and other college-related costs.

Every contribution to the Scholarship Fund helps Youth-N-Action invest directly in the educational future of young people. Individuals, businesses, organizations, alumni groups, and community partners are invited to support the Fund through:

• Individual donations 
• Corporate and community sponsorships 
• Scholarship contributions 
• Fundraising events 
• In-kind and community partnerships 

Your investment can help turn a student's college opportunity into a college reality.

Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements established for each scholarship cycle. Requirements may include:

• Be a graduating high school senior at a Montgomery Public School High School 
• Plan to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university following high school graduation. 
• Meet the minimum GPA requirement established for the scholarship cycle. 
• Submit a completed scholarship application by the published deadline. 
• Provide proof of high school enrollment and/or an official or unofficial transcript as requested. 
• Provide proof of college acceptance or enrollment when required. 
• Complete the required essay. 
• Demonstrate involvement in school, leadership, extracurricular activities, employment, or community service. 
• Meet any additional requirements announced for that year's scholarship.

Important Information:

Submitting an application does not guarantee selection. Scholarship awards are based on eligibility, the selection committee's review, available funding, and the number of qualified applicants.

Receiving the Youth-N-Action Scholarship Award is a competitive selection process. Meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee an award. Completed applications will be reviewed by the designated Youth-N-Action Scholarship Selection Committee. Applicants may be evaluated based on factors such as:

Academic Achievement

College & Career Goals 

Leadership & Character 

Community Involvement 

Personal Statement/Essay 

Financial Need 

Finalists may also be invited to participate in an interview with the Scholarship Selection Committee.
