The inaugural Youth-N-Action HBCU Alumni Scholarship 5K is a community event that celebrates the rich history, legacy, and impact of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) while raising scholarship funds to help selected graduating high school seniors pursue higher education.

This signature event brings together HBCU alumni, current students, future college students, families, businesses, civic organizations, greek organizations, and community leaders to promote education, health, service, and community engagement.

Every step taken during the event helps create opportunities for deserving students to achieve their dreams of earning a college degree.

The Youth-N-Action HBCU Alumni Scholarship 5K exists to inspire educational excellence, promote healthy lifestyles, and invest in the next generation of leaders by providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education. 

Historically Black Colleges and Universities have played a transformative role in educating generations of leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, scientists, healthcare professionals, public servants, and change-makers.

The Youth-N-Action HBCU Alumni Scholarship 5K celebrates that legacy while encouraging today's students to pursue higher education with confidence and purpose.

Proceeds from the event support the Youth-N-Action Scholarship Fund, which awards financial assistance to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate:
