First, Academic performance is crucial as it reflects discipline and intellectual capabilities. Colleges and sports programs often prioritize athletes who excel academically, as they tend to manage their time well and show commitment to their education.

Secondly, Demonstrating integrity, respect, and sportsmanship on and off the field is essential. Coaches and scouts look for athletes who positively influence their teams and communities, as this suggests they will represent their institutions well.

Last, Consistent effort and dedication in both sports and academics indicate a reliable and goal-oriented individual. A strong work ethic in training and competition translates to continuous improvement and resilience, qualities valued by coaches.

Balancing these aspects helps youth athletes become more attractive candidates for scholarships and college admissions, ultimately opening up more opportunities for their future."

About Our Program

Team Dr1ven is a comprehensive program that focuses on developing the athlete academically, athletically, and socially so they are prepared to pursuit and achieve academic, athletic, and life goals. We want our athletes to be prepared for life after basketball.

Our Mission

To promote healthy competition, moral character, value of team building, hard work, and sportsmanship through basketball in efforts that will give kids an advantage in earning a college scholarship and prepare them for life after basketball

ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT

Team Dr1ven allows for homework and tutoring session along with ACT prep. We want to ensure the youths academic progress in efforts that this program will prepare the youth to be productive citizens in our communities while also working to put them in a position to qualify academically for scholarship orrportunities.

ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT

Team Dr1ven athletic development takes place with our boys travel grassroots basketball program. This program allows selected youth ages 10-17 to participate in competitive state, regional, and national basketball tournaments and gives each player the opportunity to receive exposure.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Community development is offered within this program. Our athletes participate in food giveaways, back to school drives, and community cleanups. It’s important that our athletes understand community needs and development.
